Innocent Until Proven Guilty
I hate the media. I hate the French. First Ivan Basso and Jan Ullrich. Now Floyd Landis. Let's not jump the gun and have a trial in the media. Let Floyd enjoy his victory until there is conclusive evidence against him.

An American in Paris, Part III
Floyd Landis, a former teammate of Lance Armstrong, won the Tour de France yesterday, becoming the 3rd American to do so. That makes it 8 years in a row and 11 out of the last 21 years that an American was on top of the podium in Paris.
What makes Floyd’s win so special is that three years ago he took a massive fall and hurt his hip pretty bad-so bad he needs hip replacement surgery this fall. So the tour was a great comeback for Floyd.

The Secret World of the RD Program-Behind closed doors
RDs Unplugged!
So many people ask me what happens “behind closed doors” at our “RD Only” meetings. People sometimes seem jealous that we have the RD meetings and want to sneak in. They have visions of Bill Gates telling us state secrets or Program Managers giving us builds of the next next next version.
Well let me tell you that that never happens. But the meeting are a lot of fun. I think they are “RD Only” to protect the innocent. RDs tend to let loose and do things like get a guitar or harmonica and sing a song.
I will give you a glimpse into the secret world of the RD meetings. Thanks to Chad Hower for posting this blog entry of the RDs singing at the RD meeting at TechEd up in Boston last month. Download the videos, you will not be disappointed!
I also declared my love for Clemens Vasters by laying on the ground in front of traffic on the street in front of Fenway Park. See the photo here!

Karachi Time!
The 2006 Pakistan Developers Conference is a smashing success! Today is Day 3, boy have they worked me hard, 3 sessions each day. The code downloads for my sessions will be available in about a week, the presentations are here for XML Part I, XML Part II (XQuery), SQL Everywhere, ASP .NET Design Patterns and Writing Secure ASP.NET Code (All user input is evil!).
I love Pakistan, I hope to be back next year. Tonight Richard and I do the closing keynote, we will be showing 3-D rendering and collaborating with WinFX (.NET 3.0), Vista, Office 2007 and Sharepoint Services 2007.
