Actually, the ruling just states that in-state and out-of-state wineries have to play by the same rules, so the states that bar out-of-state wineries to ship to their state and in-state wineries from shipping within the state do not have to make a change, since both groups are treated the same. NY has a lot of wineries, so I think they will open their doors, but for other states that don't have a lot of wineries ( Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, New Jersey), this ruling will not help (since they can just opt to not let the in-state wineries ship within the state).

Agreed, however, this is a huge ruling since laws in big states will have to change-most likely for the better. Once more states fall the smaller ones will most likely come into line (hopefully).
